Food & Drink

Explore the interactive map below showing the IAT Ulster-Ireland route split up into its 11 sections, together with accommodation and food and drink options to help you plan your long distance walk.

The majority of trail is made up of a series of long distance waymarked sections as well as some non waymarked sections. We would advise on the non waymarked sections, which follow mainly public roads, you take public transport.

If you don’t know where to start we have put together a range of one day, multi day and full trail suggested itineraries with detailed route descriptions which you will find below. Underneath the map you will also find other useful information including travel and walking support services.

The ‘more info’ links in the pop up boxes on the map below take you to another website but they open in a new tab so you can easily find your way back to this website.
