Tour Includes | In the 18th and 19th centuries, millions of people from Ulster embarked on a perilous voyage to carve out a new life in a New World. Ulster American Folk Park recreates that extraordinary journey.
Wander the well-trodden pathways of rural Ulster, filled with authentic shops and buildings. Step aboard the Brig Union ship and emerge in the New World to marvel at life on the American Frontier. Enjoy our exhibit buildings but please keep a safe distance from others. The number of visitors inside exhibit buildings at one time will be reduced to allow you space to explore them safely. We ask you not to handle objects inside exhibit buildings in order to keep you, and them, safe. Experience demonstrations of traditional crafts daily, from forge work to wool spinning, turf cutting to willow weaving, woodcraft to patchwork quilting. Take a stroll through the herb garden to learn about herbal remedies from years gone by. Ask one of our Visitor Team for more details on the daily demonstrations when you arrive. Our Visitor Team will be on hand throughout your journey to answer your questions. |
